Prolific Pritzker Prize-winning architect Arata Isozaki dies, aged 91 Born in Ōita on the island of Kyushu in Japan in 1931, Isozaki's work moved from an early Brutalism, through to Postmodernist buildings such as the 1980s Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, and International Modernism.
