Ralph Emery, famed country music radio and TV broadcaster, dies at 88 Emery "passed away peacefully" Saturday morning, surrounded by his family at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, the Tennessean reported, citing a family statement. Emery was born on March 10, 1933, in McEwen, Tennessee.
