Linux Foundation's Open Network Automation Platform Issues Debut Amsterdam Release ONAP was first formed by the Linux Foundation in February 2017 as a consolidation of the AT&T led ECOMP and China Mobile led OPEN-O network automation projects. An initial code release release from ONAP came out in April, but the new Amsterdam release is the first full platform milestone.
