Broncos start cutting down roster ahead of Saturday's deadline The Broncos began the process of trimming their roster to 53 players on Friday by making 13 moves. Sources told The Denver Post and confirmed reports by 9News and Denver7 that 11 players were cut and two players were placed on injured reserve.
